KIMS Hospital offer a range of flexible work opportunities for clinical and non-clinical professionals and a key part of this is our professional Bank.
A Bank worker is an individual with the skills, experience and qualifications required for a role or roles and who has met the necessary pre engagement criteria and is offered a zero hours contract.
Under this contract they may be offered work to meet a staffing shortfall during busy periods, annual leave or where there is increased demand for a skill set. Whilst our Bank workers are expected to accept the work offered where they can, there is no contractual obligation to work a regular or fixed working pattern or number of hours, there is no guarantee of work and no continuous employment between assignments.
Being a Bank worker is a great way to be part of the KIMS team whilst maintaining flexibility around family, studies, other work or commitments as well as to earn an extra income.
It is likely that most members of our Bank will be offered work reasonably frequently. Our Bank members are part of our mission to provide the best care and put the patient first in whatever we do.
