Professional Profile

Mr Norris qualified from Bristol University in 1986 and trained as an Anatomy Demonstrator at Liverpool University (1987-1988). He then completed his General surgical training at Chester, Cambridge and Bristol (1988-1991). He completed his Neurosurgical (inc spinal surgery) training at Nottingham & London (1991 -1997) and a Specialist Cerebrovascular Fellowship at University of Toronto (1997-1998).

Mr Norris was appointed to his current Consultant position in 1998. 

Following his Consultant appointment, Mr Norris continues to practice all aspects of his training and is part of an on-call rota. He has been an ATLS Instructor, Examiner for FRCS(SN), Member of the Specialist Accreditation Committee and is currently an elected Council member of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons.
