Professional Profile

Professor Tolat started his orthopaedic training at Nair University Hospital in Bombay, India.  After this he spent ten years training in Sheffield, Liverpool and Wrightington Hospital in Wigan.  

Professor Tolat did a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the world famous Mayo Clinic, Rochester (USA) in 2003.  In 2006 he undertook a senior clinical fellowship at King's College London, in hand and shoulder surgery.  It was at King's College London that Professor Tolat obtained the CCST in Trauma and Orthopaedics.

Professor Tolat is currently a Royal College Specialty Tutor in Orthopaedic surgery and is the STC representative from Medway Hospital.
