Have had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago – I am absolutely pleased with all aspects of hospital staff and treatment and physio.

On Facebook
I have now been in KIMS hospital twice and it is by far the best hospital that I have ever had an inpatient experience in. All the staff are pleasant even those not directly connected to your care. If only all hospitals were like this we would have the best health care in the world.

On Facebook
Absolutely fantastic hospital, all of the staff are extremely friendly and professional the rooms are comfortable you really couldn’t ask for more

On Facebook
Have had 3 knee operations and the operating theatre staff are brilliant. The rooms and hospital were spotless on each visit. From start to finish I would totally recommend this hospital and the way they treat their patients plus the physio dept are second to none

Our Theatres

We have five fully integrated theatres. Our Theatre Manager was involved in the design and set up of the theatre space at KIMS Hospital which has allowed us to create a highly efficient system. Our patients benefit from this as it minimises the time spent under anaesthetic and in surgery.

Our three orthopaedic theatres, all have state-of-the-art laminar flow systems which help to maintain clean air flow and ventilation in the operating theatre during a procedure. This is particularly important for orthopaedic patients as it helps to reduce the risk of infection.

At KIMS Hospital, we are proud to say that our infection rates remain at 0%.*

*no mandatory reports of MRSA, C. Difficle or any other blood stream infection, correct as of April 2017

We have made paying for your own treatment as accessible as possible. We have fixed prices, with no hidden costs and different finance options to help those wishing to spread the cost of treatment.

The first step is to have an initial consultation with one of our Orthopaedic specialists. Once you know which procedure you need, we will provide you with a fixed price for your treatment.

In the meantime, our enquiries team will be able to give you a guide price for most procedures such as hip or knee replacements and also for any scans or tests you may need.

Use the booking form below or call 01622 914 906 to ask speak to our team.

Already know what you need?

You may already be waiting on the NHS and considering switching to private treatment. We can request the results of any scans or tests you’ve had already, speeding things up and saving you money.

If you know which procedure you need, our enquiries team will be able to discuss any quotes you have had elsewhere, helping you make an informed decision about your treatment.

Once you’ve made the decision to go ahead, you can pay for your treatment in the following ways

Pay for yourself upfront

Our fixed price guarantee means there are no hidden costs or added extras for your procedure so you can have peace of mind this is taken care of ahead of your surgery. Allowing you to concentrate on your treatment and recovery. Payment for your initial consultation will be invoiced to you directly by your Consultant.

Spread the cost with 0% finance

We know that not everyone will have the funds to be able to pay for their surgery upfront. We offer 0% finance options which can help you spread the cost of your surgery over time helping to make your treatment more affordable. Our enquiries team will be able to give you all the details on how to apply.

Use your private medical insurance

We are approved by all major medical insurance companies, if you have private medical insurance why not give them a call to help get your treatment started.
