More than 70 GPs from across Kent and Medway visited KIMS Hospital for a conference led by some of the country’s leading orthopaedic consultants.
The session offered doctors the opportunity to widen their knowledge and pose questions to the consultants, who all practice at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone.
A key aim of the event is to help them know when to refer patients for specialist treatment.
Topics covered included ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and hand.
The event was chaired by Simon Ellis, who introduced talks from his fellow consultant orthopaedic surgeons David Rose, James Ritchie, Kasetti Ravikumar and Bijayendra Singh.
The next GP event at KIMS Hospital will be on 20 June when the topic will be Neurosurgery.
