The Role

Reporting to the Physiotherapy Manager, we have an opening for a BANK Physiotherapist to join our growing team and support the department working flexible shifts. You will be an essential part of the team, offering clinical assessments of patients ensuring that the patient experience and care remains at the heart of the business.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:
• To carry out assessments of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those with complex presentations, using developed clinical reasoning gained through training and previous experience
• Formulate and deliver physiotherapy treatment programmes based on clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice
• Maintain accurate written records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) standards and to monitor those of more junior Physiotherapists
• Contribute to the implementation of hospital policies and procedures in line with the CSP, CQC and other governing bodies
• Engage with other medical professionals both internally and externally, maintaining professional clinical relationships
• Be flexible working in both inpatients and outpatients departments and happy to work late clinics as well as weekends when necessary

The Individual


The ideal candidate:
• Will be a qualified Physiotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
• Be absolutely patient focused with a desire and proven ability to lead others
• Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Extensive post-registration clinical experience with a minimum of 2 years solid, recent experience
• Energetic and achievement focused with a passion for Physiotherapy and the desire to develop
• Evidence of continuous professional development
