NHS treatment (e-Referrals)
As well as seeing patients with medical insurance and those who pay for themselves, KIMS now offers services to NHS patients.
This means that you can ask your doctor/GP to be referred to our hospital for treatment in any of the following specialties:
- ENT (excluding audiology)
- General Surgery
- Ophthalmology (cataracts only)
- Pain management
This is part of the NHS Choice initiative, which allows patients to select where they would like to be referred to. It is also known as Choose and Book, or e-Referral.
This legal right lets you choose from any hospital offering a suitable treatment that meets NHS standards and costs.
To find out if you can have your NHS treatment at KIMS Hospital, talk to your GP.
Further information on patient choices can be found on the NHS website.
If you are a GP looking for more information about e-Referrals to KIMS Hospital, please visit the Medical Professionals section.
