We are pleased that the hospital has been rated “Good” by the CQC across several of the key areas; Responsive, Caring and Effective. As our hospital continues to grow, it is helpful that the inspection and report has provided us with further expert guidance to support our on-going quality improvement plan.
Patient safety is our number one priority, and we work with outstanding and highly experienced consultants, physicians and clinical staff. We are passionate about delivering high quality care and, while we were naturally disappointed with the Regulator’s overall rating of “Requires Improvement” and some of their findings, we felt the judgement was fair. We have taken immediate steps to address the findings.
At KIMS, we are committed to a culture of continual improvement, and have reviewed and updated our actions within our improvement plan, incorporating the feedback from the CQC. This plan has now been approved by the CQC.
