The Back Pain Assessment Clinic is ideal for anyone suffering with back or neck pain, including referred pain to the legs or arms.
The initial assessment is £60 and will last approximately 45 minutes. Any follow up sessions are £45
If during your initial assessment a clinical need is identified for an MRI scan, your physical therapist will be able to help you with this. An MRI scan and subsequent follow-up appointment with your physical therapist to discuss the results can be arranged through the Imaging Team and Physical Therapy Team.
An MRI scan is usually taken of one part of the body but occasionally, to help with diagnosis if there is referred pain an MRI scan might be taken of two or more parts of the body.
1 part MRI = £420
2 part MRI = £700
A free follow-up appointment with your physical therapists will also be arranged. During this 15 minutes appointment the results of your scan will be discussed as well as onward treatment options.
If, in their clinical opinion, your back pain can be treated through Physical Therapy they will be able to support you in booking ongoing treatment with either a physiotherapist, chiropractor or osteopath working within the Physical Therapy department.
Follow-up appointments with the Physical Therapy Team = £45
